Edmonton features an incredibly dedicated riding community, great cross-country mountain biking, and a camp management team that's so keen on being on their bikes that they ride every trail pre-camp to make sure they've chosen the most appropriate ones.
Our mornings are spent in skill development sessions at Argyll Park, and our afternoons taking advantage of great local knowledge and using all the terrain that Edmonton has to offer: Gold Bar Park, Mill Creek Ravine, Strathcona Park and Terwillegar Park.
If you’re keen on picking up a wide variety of skills in the mornings, and then working on climbing, descending, cornering, and conquering new roots, rocks, and obstacles in the afternoons, this camp just might be for you. Since everything is quite close at this camp – the host shop, skill site, and trails – things are pretty convenient too.
During the camp weekend, the United Sport & Cycle is offering participants 20% off bikes and bike related merchandise, as well as free pre-booked bike rentals; call the shop at 780-433-1181 to set up a rental. They're also extending a 15% discount on all bike related merchandise throughout the entire month of June; bring in your camp registration confirmation to qualify.
If you do a general online search, you can likely find a good hotel deal in Edmonton. Our suggestion is to book on or around Gateway Boulevard, as then you'll only be about five minutes from United Sport & Cycle, where you'll be starting your camp days.
