Camp Overview | What to Bring | Demo Equipment

Demo Equipment

One of the benefits of being partnered with top industry manufacturers is the ability to offer you some of the best mountain bike equipment to demo at camp. We have Trek mountain bikes, Race Face protective gear, Five Ten shoes, crankbrothers pedals, and Smith trail helmets available for you to reserve in advance and test out at no charge.

Trek Bikes

All the coaches are in love with their Trek Bikes, and we’re excited for you to try them out too. All our 2019 demo bikes are outfitted with Fox suspension, Fox adjustable seat posts, Maxxis tires, and crankbrothers flat pedals.

Fuel EX: Cross-Country / Trail (27.5 and 29)

Trek’s best-selling bike was recently updated with 140 mm of travel, increasing its capability for rugged descents without compromising its nimbleness on climbs. If you are wondering where to start, start here.

How to Request Demo Gear

You can access, complete, and submit our online demo equipment request form here.

Our goal is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to try the demo equipment we have, and that means that we usually limit reservations to one day per person. Once at camp, you’ll be able to put your name on a list for a potential second day of use, so connect with the coaches then to see how availability looks.

If you’re not planning to bring a bike to camp at all, feel free to check in with us to see if we have an idea of the demand on your particular camp weekend, but also expect to rent a bike from the host shop for one day. Many of the hosts will offer you discounted rental rates, and you can find those details within the location specific pages.

Everything about the camp was top notch! The instructors were sweet, smart, knowledgeable, and funny. The demo bike was confidence inspiring, the rider camaraderie was strong, the food was incredible, the prizes were very appreciated, and the riding was absolutely crazy fantastic!
