Corte Madera, CA

While a lot of areas share the attention now, Marin is actually the birthplace of mountain biking. We used to do camps here a handful of years ago and we're excited to be able to say that in 2019 we'll be going back.

We'll base ourselves out of Trek Bicycle Corte Madera, and drive just a few minutes to Towne Park for our morning skill development sessions, where we'll work with all our signature features and teaching tools.

In the afternoons we'll head to China Camp State Park and Camp Tamarancho for coached on-trail practice. If there's sufficient demand, we'll also incorporate the dirt jumps at the Stafford Lake Bike Park for those who are interested.

China Camp is known for having fantastic beginner and intermediate mountain bike trails with a variety of climbs and descents, all kinds of corners, and some challenging roll down opportunties too. Camp Tamarancho has intermediate and advanced options with fantastic tight switchbacks, technical rocky climbs, and plenty of opportunities to also smooth out and speed up your descending skills.

This camp is a nice complement to our other California camps. If you're looking for a co-ed camp weekend then check out Santa Cruz, and if you're focused on lift access then check out Mammoth. If, however, you're after pedalling oriented springtime professional mountain bike instruction in a beautiful location, we look forward to seeing you in Marin.
