Whistler, BC

Whistler is our home base and, understandably, among our favorite places to ride and teach. Not only is it wonderful to know an area inside and out, but it's fantastic to have so much to know. Between the world-renowned mountain bike park, technically challenging valley climbs and descents, and the same friendly entry-level trails many of us learned on ourselves, Whistler has it dialed.

All of our Whistler camps allow each participant to select their specific riding focus. You can choose to spend all your time in the bike park, focus on the pedaling oriented trails in the valley, or select a different one each day and experience them both.

Camps here also serve all rider levels, and all discipline interests, amazingly well. There is fantastic terrain on which to start in the sport, trails designed to develop intermediate technical skills, the ideal set up for learning jumps and drops, and then countless opportunities to develop far beyond the single blacks and the standard features.

We have several women's specific camps and several co-ed camps too. New for 2019, we also have one-day weekday camps that can either be taken on their own or added to a weekend camp to make an even more comprehensive program.

Thanks to our partnership with Whistler Blackcomb, those interested in riding the lift-accessed trails in the bike park during camp will be able to purchase significantly discounted lift tickets through us when we meet each morning.

Whatever your level, whatever your bike, whatever your interest, and whatever you want to learn, you can do it, and put it into immediate practice, here.

Accommodation Information

We are proud to have the Aava Whistler Hotel as our local accommodation sponsor for the tenth year running. The hotel has a great location and amazing facilities, treats mountain bikers like gold, and offers a VIP discount of 30% to Trek Dirt Series participants.

The VIP rate is available on Whistler camp weekends, as well as four days pre and post, all subject to availability. Some of our camps share dates with large resort-wide events, so definitely book early, as space often sells out.

Should you wish to stay at the Aava at other times, you’ll be entitled to a Trek Dirt Series affiliated discount then too. In this case it will be 10% off their lowest sell rate, provided you book at least seven days in advance.

A two-night minimum stay is always required for all Saturday stays. Room options include two queen beds, a queen bed and a sofa bed, or a king bed. The hotel features a dry sauna, hot tub, outdoor heated pool, complimentary locked valet bike storage, and the nicest staff around. It’s located right in the village and less than a five-minute pedal from our host shops.

To book, call the Aava at 1-800-663-5644 x 4004 and ask for the Trek Dirt Series discounted rate, email them and include Trek Dirt Series in the subject line, or book online and enter DIRT in the rate access / corporate code drop down field.
