Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Trek Dirt Series. We really appreciate our volunteers and do our very best to make sure that your experience working with us is fun and rewarding.
As a volunteer you play an integral role in creating an exciting, positive, and supportive camp. You’ll be giving back to the mountain biking community while meeting great people, and, as an added bonus, we'll send you home with small thank you gifts from our sponsors too.
The most important qualifications for being a Dirt Series volunteer are a positive attitude, strong people skills, and a willingness to be flexible. If you’re interested in assisting with the morning skill sessions or sweeping (tail guiding) afternoon rides we ask that you possess intermediate to advanced riding skills, and are comfortable and confident on your bike.
We have three different volunteer positions available (click on the title to learn more):
Full-Day Assistant / 8 AM to 6 PM both days
Help with administrative and camp preparation tasks in the morning, assist during the morning skill sessions, potentially assist with lunch preparation or pickup, and ride as a sweep during the afternoon rides. Includes lunch.
Non-Riding Assistant / 8 AM to 2 PM both days
Fulfill many of the same duties of the full-day assistant, but without the on-bike assistance during the morning skills sessions and afternoon rides. Includes lunch.
Afternoon Sweep / 1:30 PM to 6 PM both days
Ride as a sweep during the afternoon rides, helping the coach provide a fun, safe, and positive experience for the camp participants.
Optional Evening Session: We also hold an evening session at our host shop (usually Saturday), running until approximately 7 PM. We welcome your assistance for this part of camp too.
If you are interested in joining as a volunteer at one of our camps this season, please complete our volunteer questionnaire to let us know your availability and experience.
