We've been teaching in Canmore for the past eleven years, and enjoying it more and more every time. The area is full of amazing cross-country terrain, Rebound Cycle has the program just dialed, and so many past participants volunteer to help that it feels like a reunion each time we roll into town.
We run our morning skill sessions in Eagle Terrace Park, and head out on our afternoon rides from there. With trails on the west side of the Bow Valley like Highline and Riders of Rohan, and the trails on the east side of the Valley like G8 and the Montane Traverse, there are so many great places to go, and so many fun things to learn.
All in all Canmore is a great camp location to pick up mountain bike basics, tune endurance racing skills, and hit some introductory to challenging cross-country and light freeride terrain. Just register early, as the Canmore camp always fills up quite a ways in advance.
