 Bend, OregonSaturday-Sunday, July 31-Aug 1Bend has a well-deserved reputation as a multi-sport Mecca, a solid mountain bike community, and a trail system testament to years of IMBA visits and countless hours of local work. This is a fantastic location for beginner to advanced cross-country and all mountain riders, with some additional options for the more freeride inclined too. Trails feature fun climbs and descents, endless corners, and both natural and man-made features in between. If you're willing to pedal to access some great terrain, you'll have fun in Bend. We run morning skill sessions at one of the local parks, and focus our afternoon rides in the Phil's trails area. There we've been known to dial in our skills on Phil's, Ben's, Kent's, Whoops, Voodoo, Grand Slam, and KGB. The Bend Bellas have been a great help to us over the years, as has April Lawyer, former World Cup DH racer, Maxxis team rider, and current Bend resident. Check out the What to do in Bend page for their suggestions. Hotels The Shilo Inn Suites Hotel is also one of the recommendations from our host shop. They are offering a great discount for our participants at $104 per room per night for a double room with either single or double occupancy, and an extra person is only an additional $15. The rooms can sleep up to ** people. The hotel includes both Indoor and Outdoor Heated Pools, a Spa, Sauna and Steam Room perfect for relaxing after a long drive or a day on the camp. The greatest thing about the hotel is its location in the heart of downtown Bend amidst the action of all the bars, restaurants and entertainment. After a hard days ride they have a whirlpool, steam room and dry sauna in the 7th Floor Fitness room. They are Bend's only 4 star hotel and they are offering a $159 deal for standard king rooms ($10 additional person up to 4 people).
