Our inaugural Mammoth camp was wonderful in so many ways that we nearly can’t wait to go back in 2017. The resort features completely unique terrain, a wide variety of riding options, gorgeous views, and hospitality that is second to none.
We run our morning skill development sessions – featuring everything from stance and balance lessons to wheel lifts, roll downs, and drops – on the stunts we bring along with us as well as in the dedicated learning areas in the park. Our afternoons are then focused on incorporating new skills onto the trails, whether cross-country or downhill inclined.
The cross-country pedaling options are fairly smooth, fast, and flowing, with opportunities to practice climbing technique, develop low and high-speed cornering, and master loose terrain. The downhill lift-accessed options offer everything from green to double black options, and the chance to develop descending skills whether for all-mountain applications or dedicated gravity oriented pursuits.
Each Mammoth camp entry includes cross-country trail access all weekend, a bike park pass for one of the camp days, and a discounted bike park pass for those interested in continuing to ride the lifts on the other. Mammoth also organizes great deals on accommodations, so be sure to check back for those details soon.
During the camp weekend, Mammoth is providing participants with a coupon good for 20% off all retail merchandise., as well as offering 25% off standard and high performance bike rentals. Please email them directly to reserve your bike in advance.
