We've been teaching in Canmore for over a dozen years, and loving it more every time. The area is full of amazing cross-country terrain, Rebound Cycle has the program just dialed, and so many past participants volunteer to help that it feels like a reunion each time we roll into town.
We run our morning skill sessions in Eagle Terrace Park, and head out on our afternoon rides from there. With trails on the west side of the Bow Valley like Highline and Riders of Rohan, and trails on the east side of the Valley like G8 and the Montane Traverse, there are so many great places to go, and so many fun things to learn.
All in all Canmore is a great camp location to pick up mountain bike basics, tune endurance racing skills, hit introductory to challenging cross-country trails, or even learn to get some air under your wheels. Huge thanks to Tracey Gage, local Canmore camp manager, for putting her mark on this event and making it even more special each year.
August is quite a busy time in Canmore, so if you're coming from out of town, it's a good idea to book your accommodations early. There are a variety of options, ranging from campgrounds to hotels, so start with a general online search, and then get in touch with us if you'd like help.
